The wonderful Estrela Garden is located 900 meters from the apartments. It's an open public garden with picnic areas, cafes, and a playground.
The Estrela Garden, later renamed Guerra Junqueiro Garden, is a public garden situated in the Estrela parish, in Lisbon, with one of its entrances in front of the Estrela Basilica. The Estrela Garden was built in the style of English gardens, with romantic inspiration. It covers 4.6 hectares and is open to the public every day, from seven in the morning until midnight.
The ducks and carps in the lake delight in the food that some people bring, and the garden also has a café and beautiful flower beds. One of the central points of the garden is the green wrought-iron bandstand. This bandstand was built in 1884 and was originally located in the Public Promenade before the construction of Avenida da Liberdade, being transferred to the garden in 1936.
